More than 3 thousand trucks have accumulated on the border of Belarus with the European Union. About it informs State Border Committee of the Republic.
“The queue to enter the EU is more than 3,000 trucks,” the statement said.
According to border guards, the main reason for the traffic jam in front of checkpoints was the failure of EU countries to comply with the rules of entry. It is clarified that over the weekend the queue of trucks increased by almost 800 units.
It is known that more than a thousand trucks have accumulated at the Polish checkpoint “Kukuryki” (adjacent Belarusian “Kozlovichi”).
In the Lithuanian direction, more than 860 trucks are parked in front of the Shalchininkai (Benyakoni) checkpoint, the border service reported.
