Serpukhov swimmers won medals at the Governor’s Cup

Competitions for the Cup of the Governor of the Moscow Region in swimming among athletes with disabilities were held at the Vympel sports complex in Korolev. This year, 150 participants from 18 districts came to the start.
The competitions were open to athletes with visual and hearing impairments, as well as those with intellectual and musculoskeletal disorders. Serpukhov was represented by athletes of the Equal Opportunities sports club for the disabled.
Athletes who demonstrated high results and swimming technique climbed the podium. The well-deserved first place was taken by Zlata Savelieva in the LIN sport at a distance of 50 meters on the back. And Natalia Mishina became the owner of the third place in the sport of LIN at a distance of 50 meters on the back, as well as at a distance of 50 meters in freestyle.
Impressive results were achieved by Roman Evsyukov, who won first place in the sport of the blind at a distance of 50 meters in freestyle. But no less impressive achievements were demonstrated by Vladislav Solod, who became second in the sport of the deaf at a distance of 50 meters on the back and third in the same discipline at a distance of 50 meters in freestyle.
Among juniors, Vadim Denisov became the leader, taking first place in the discipline of deaf sports at a distance of 50 meters on the back and third place in the same discipline at a distance of 50 meters in freestyle.
Serpukhov athletes demonstrated high professionalism and true sports spirit.
