Serpukhov hosted a basketball tournament dedicated to the Athlete’s Day

On the eve of the Day of the athlete on the universal sports ground in the village of Bolshevik, o. Serpukhov held the Traditional 3×3 Basketball Tournament among men’s teams. This event became part of the Power of Russia sports marathon organized by the United Russia party.
Nine teams from different cities and towns took part in the tournament, which underlines the wide popularity of this sport. The competitions were held at a high level, showing the skills and abilities of the players. As a result of a stubborn struggle, the prize-winning places were distributed as follows: the first place was taken by the Patriot team from Serpukhov. Their excellent well-coordinated work and accurate throws allowed them to win.
In second place was the team “Kaluga” (city of Serpukhov), demonstrating a high level of technique and tactics of the game. The third place went to the team “Apelsin” from Kremenki, which was able to show their best side and show a good result.
Thus, the traditional 3×3 basketball tournament has become a wonderful sporting event that showed the importance of physical education and sports in our lives. Athletes of the winning team were awarded with valuable prizes, including a cup, diplomas and medals, as well as memorable souvenirs from a representative of the United Russia party.
