According to MS-21, the key task is to start production of the machine in the Russian version in 2024,” he said.
Slyusar also noted that work is now underway to maintain a fleet of 150 Superjet 100 aircraft, which “act as the main jet machine on regional routes.” Its modification is the SSJ New, which will consist almost entirely of Russian parts, the first flight is scheduled for 2023.

The SSJ 100 aircraft belongs to the family of regional vessels, the flight range of the basic version is 4400 km, the capacity is 98 passengers. It began to operate in 2011. In SSJ New with maximum import substitution, in addition to replacing the engine from SaM 146 to PD-8, it is also necessary to replace key foreign systems with domestic ones.
The MS-21 medium-haul civil aircraft can accommodate from 163 to 211 passengers. At the end of 2021, the aircraft received a basic type certificate, in December it made its first flight with a Russian composite wing.
