Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, on the eve of the upcoming visit to the republic by US State Department representative Derek Schollet, said that Belgrade’s position on the issue of anti-Russian sanctions would remain unchanged – they would not be introduced.

The Serbian Foreign Ministry stressed that the problem of Kosovo and Metohija and the position on the lifting of sanctions are “priority state issues.”
“We consider the violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine to be erroneous, but the issue of imposing sanctions against Russia affects the national interests of Serbia,” Dacic explained on the RTV channel.
