According to the source of the publication, vascular surgeons warned that in the event of amputation, there is a risk of developing thromboembolism. Tissue death, in turn, can lead to heart failure.
Kostomarov has been in the hospital since January 10, he is connected to a ventilator. The figure skater on the eve of hospitalization participated in ice shows, the air temperature in the Moscow region in those days reached minus 25 degrees.
Last week, information appeared about the improvement in Kostomarov’s condition. On February 1, there were reports of a circulatory disorder in a 45-year-old athlete and a possible amputation of his toes.
