Scientists have named an unexpected condition that makes sex unforgettable

What kind of intimate life can be considered regular?

Experts from the University of Texas at Austin (USA) studied which factors have the strongest influence on a person’s satisfaction with intimate relationships. Among other things, they found that the most arousing thing for both sexes is talking about sex – not only before, but also during the act itself.

After conducting a survey of more than 2,000 people who are sexually active, researchers found that about 65% of women and 57% of men who are completely satisfied with this aspect of their existence often talk about sex while having it. But among those dissatisfied with their intimate life there are very few of them – 5% and 9%, respectively.

“The consequence of strong arousal is more vibrant sex that delivers maximum pleasure,” explains sexologist and psychologist Oleg Shevchenko. – But arousal occurs not only through the sensory organs, but also, I would even say – primarily – emotionally. Therefore, the result obtained by our American colleagues does not cause any surprise. I must admit that among Russians it is not customary to talk about intimate pleasures, even between partners who are directly involved in them. Meanwhile, speaking out loud what is happening, calling each other’s body parts by their proper names, perhaps even vulgar synonyms of their names, discussing mutual sensations is very correct. Such conversations increase the degree of emotions and, as a result, physical arousal.

I would like to add that the worst conversations during sex are about abstract topics. It’s better to remain silent than to start discussing future renovations or purchases that need to be made in the near future during intimacy.”
