Scientists have managed to attract a large object with a laser beam

Chinese physicists conducted a series of experiments during which they were able to attract a macroscopic object with a visible laser beam. This effect was achieved using the Knudsen force due to the temperature difference in the thin film.
Previously, only atoms, nano- and micro-objects could be attracted with a laser. This technology, called “optical tweezers”, brought its creators the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2018.
Under conditions of low pressure, physicists were able to attract a copper plate with a sputtered gold film with a force of 0.8 micronewtons. This required a 488-nanometer beam with a power of 85 milliwatts.
It is assumed that such laser beams can be used in space and on planets with a rarefied atmosphere.
