The risk of myocardial infarction was increased by almost 15 times, pericarditis by almost 14 times, and atrial fibrillation by almost 10 times. Those who were hospitalized with COVID had a 118-fold increased risk of death from all causes (!), death from cardiovascular diseases by almost 9 times, and death from coronary heart disease by more than 14 times during the year.
