Scientists have discovered how light from mobile phones and computers shortens human life

As a result of the study, the results of which were published in the scientific journal Frontiers in Aging, LEDs, especially blue light of a certain spectrum, which is emitted by mobile phones, computers, televisions and some energy-saving lamps, are to blame for the onset of early old age in people.
The study was carried out at Oregon State University in the US and led by Professor Jadwiga Gibultowicz, who emphasized that “excessive exposure to blue light affects basic human cellular function and leads to early aging.”
Experiments were carried out on fruit flies, and it was found that the radiation from LED gadgets and lamps negatively affects all cells of the body. Under the influence of blue light, substances necessary for the proper functioning of the cell change their chemical composition. This leads to the first conclusion: limiting your exposure to blue light can help prevent early aging.
The second conclusion is that people should be responsible about the conditions in which they spend their days.
The Washington Post previously noted that artificial lighting in cities, especially LED lamps, makes the night sky 10% brighter every year. This negatively affects people’s health, especially at night: circadian rhythms associated with the daily rhythm of day and night are disrupted, which can reduce the effectiveness of the immune system and increase the risk of developing cancer and other dangerous diseases.
