Scientist Eismont said that the coming magnetic storm could affect weather-dependent people and equipment
Leading researcher at the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Natan Eismont, warned about the possible negative consequences of the impending magnetic storm for weather-dependent people and equipment.
During an interview with the TV channel “Star” On October 12, the scientist urged people who are sensitive to electromagnetic activity to be careful. He explained that the human cardiovascular system does not fully adapt to such phenomena, so patients with related diseases should follow the recommendations of their doctor.
In addition, a magnetic storm can have a strong impact on the operation of electronics, notes the 360 TV channel. In particular, the risk of accidents on power lines will increase, and space satellites will also be negatively affected. There may also be problems with communication in areas where the signal is usually weak – the connection may be completely lost.
Nathan Eismont clarified that the expected magnetic storm can reach 6 points out of 9 possible in power.
Let us recall that some scientists believe that magnetic storms do not affect people’s conditions.
