Schools will be ventilated more often, and students will be taught about infection prevention

The first week of school is coming to an end. On the eve of September 1, Rospotrebnadzor recommended educational institutions to observe epidemiological safety measures, in particular, to carry out thermometry at the entrance to the educational building, to disinfect classrooms and corridors. Canteen workers must wear masks. All this is being done in order to counter the spread of COVID-19 as actively as possible.

At the moment, a high incidence of coronavirus remains in Russia, and approximately 12-13% of cases are children. And more than half of them are schoolchildren aged 7 to 17 years. In this regard, the Ministry of Health has prepared a memo for educational organizations on the prevention of COVID-19.

There are several paragraphs in the document. In particular, recommendations for teachers to pay attention to the state of students during the day. If someone complains of a headache, does not want to eat, he has a runny nose or cough, he should be shown to a nurse. And inform the principal of the school about it. By the way, teachers are also encouraged to monitor their condition. And at the first sign of discomfort, put on a mask and consult a doctor.

Another tip is to regularly remind children and schoolchildren about the rules of hygiene: washing hands thoroughly, using antiseptics. It is also important to explain to the children that when coughing and sneezing, one should use disposable handkerchiefs, and not cover their mouths with their hands, because the infection spreads easily from the hands.

During school mass events, as well as breakfasts and lunches in the canteen, do not forget about the observance of social distance by the children. Subject teachers and class teachers should ensure that classrooms are regularly ventilated.
