Eleventh-graders of the Shebekinsky District of the Belgorod Region will be taken to the points for passing the Unified State Exam (USE) in the Russian language by passenger transport for security purposes. School buses are prohibited. This was announced by the Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov. Previously Unified State Examination in Russian in the district moved to a later date due to shelling, in other regions it will be held today, May 29.
“Daily shelling is massive. People are very worried about the movement of children on buses. Of course, there should be no movement of the columns. I forbid! Let’s take the children out of Shebekino by cars,” Mr. Gladkov said at the operational meeting.
Children will be put on a bus in Belgorod, they will go by bus to the place where the exams are taken. Mr. Gladkov recommends that owners of passenger cars take their children by themselves. “Those who don’t have cars in the administration,” he added. He also proposed to work out the issue of compensation for taxis for the movement of schoolchildren to the exam points.
Shebekinsky district is regularly under fire. May 27 he was fired upon five times: as a result, one person died, three were injured. May 26 district was fired upon 106 times. Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov declaredthat the solution to the problem of shelling would be the annexation of Kharkov to Russia.
