School students are invited to the photo contest “The most beautiful country”

The Russian Geographical Society has announced the start of the IX photo contest for children and adults “The Most Beautiful Country”. Participants of the competition can send their works depicting wildlife to the competition.
The competition is held in several categories: “Landscape”, “Wild Animals”, “Birds”, “Magic of the Elements”, “Russia from a bird’s eye view”, “Russia in Persons”, “Living Archive”, “Art of Wildlife (art- photo)”, “Macroworld”, “Shot on a smartphone”, and is dedicated to the conservation of Russia’s nature, respect for the environment. One important condition: all work must be done in Russia. There are separate prizes for children and adolescents under 16 years of age.
All submitted works will be reviewed by an expert committee consisting of professional photographers and photo editors. Experts will determine the finalists in each nomination, after which the jury members will select the winners.
The winners in the main nominations will receive 250,000 rubles each. The works of all finalists will be published in a colorful photo album and will take part in exhibitions around the world.
