In Sochi, school No. 80 named after the Hero of the Soviet Union D.L. Calarasi. The complex work included repairs in three buildings of the educational organization, the purchase of new textbooks, furniture, interactive and computer equipment, as well as advanced training for teachers, said Anastasia Gnusareva, head of the Lazarevsky territorial department of the education and science department of the Sochi administration.

“Thanks to the participation of the school in the modernization project, beautiful and modern buildings with new educational equipment appeared in it. Now, in the process of teaching schoolchildren, modern educational technologies will be used as part of the Digital Educational Environment project.

“The design project of the Center, its content and content were developed together with the children. Children’s public organizations of the school will work there: the school cell of the Russian movement of schoolchildren, the Yunarmiya movement, a volunteer detachment, the school self-government Council, the school press center, Big Break and others, ”Gnusareva specified.





The school is famous for its graduates. In its 57-year history, it has produced 4,536 high school students, including 106 medalists. Among them are heads of healthcare and education institutions, government officials and businessmen. So, for example, in 1984, a well-known Russian businessman, philanthropist Sergei Galitsky graduated from school No. 80.

As the director of the educational institution Tatyana Yurievna Pasynok notes, the school preserves its traditions and keeps up with the times. Today MOU secondary school No. 80 is 1476 students, 47 classes-sets and almost 100 employees. The educational organization operates the school sports club “Hopes of Russia”, the scientific society “Initiative”, the volunteer center “Give good”, the detachment of the youth army “Patriot” named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union P.M. Kamozina. School students become prize-winners and winners of scientific and practical conferences, olympiads, sports competitions, and also actively participate in socially significant events and projects.

In the best traditions of military-patriotic education, the school museum “Poisk” operates in the educational organization, most of the exhibits of which are devoted to the history of the school’s friendship with veterans, relatives of veterans of the 236th Fighter Aviation Lviv Red Banner Division, which defended the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory during the Great Patriotic War. Her pilot was Dmitry Leontyevich Kalarash, whose name is the school number 80 in Sochi.
