Scholz said there are too many refugees arriving in Germany

The number of refugees seeking to reach Germany is now “too high,” Chancellor Olaf Scholz said in an interview with RND.
“The situation cannot remain the same: more than 70% of all refugees arriving in Germany have not previously been registered, although almost all of them have already been in another EU country,” – leads his words Tagesspiegel.
Germany, Scholz added, supports the protection of Europe’s external borders, has strengthened security measures on the border with Austria, and has also agreed with Switzerland and the Czech Republic on joint border controls.

Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk, who was responsible for consular affairs, was dismissed from his post because, according to media reports, he was involved in a corruption scheme.
