The shocking act of a resident of the Kursk region, who killed his family due to long-term sexual abstinence, could not be fully explained by either sexologists or family psychologists. The tragedy occurred on November 13 in the Seimsky farm, Oktyabrsky district. 42-year-old Andrei met his 41-year-old wife from the night shift (she worked as a nurse at the Kursk City Clinical Hospital) and, having reached home with her, demanded intimacy. The woman responded by complaining of fatigue, and a scandal broke out between the spouses.

The man’s 62-year-old paralyzed mother woke up from the noise and began asking for silence, and her own son, taking a knife from the kitchen table, went to her room to cut the pensioner’s throat. Then the murderer stabbed his wife 9 times, and then got to his 16-year-old daughter, inflicting 14 stab wounds on her.

Having dealt with his relatives, the inadequate washed himself, changed into clean clothes and went to surrender to the police.

“Sexual abstinence, that is, abstinence, often makes a man depressed, affects his character and provokes alcohol addiction,” notes sexologist Maya Oleynik. “However, this mainly applies to single, insecure men. Family men, not finding understanding from their other halves, often discharge themselves on the side. Here, apparently, the relationship between husband and wife has not been ideal for a long time. It seems to me that he committed the crime in a state of passion, and the aggression was fueled either by alcohol or a mild natural drug, “grass,” for example.

The man did not really explain to the investigators how long his abstinence lasted. He only pointed out that recently there had been more and more refusals from his wife.

Meanwhile, some psychologists are inclined to believe that the criminal suffers from schizophrenia. This version is supported by the fact that after the bloody massacre the man behaved calmly and calmly. He washed, got dressed, got ready and gave up… Such a clear sequence of actions shows that this is not a very healthy individual and his consciousness is not always guided by him. More like instincts and mental disorder.
