Saudi Crown Prince demands ceasefire in Gaza

Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud made policy statements on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict during his speech at the Arab League and Organization of Islamic Cooperation summits in Riyadh.
“We demand an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip,” Al Saud said.
He also demanded the immediate opening of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
In addition, he accused the UN Security Council of failing to act due to the ongoing fighting in Gaza.
Al Saud believes that stability in the region can only be achieved with the end of the “Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories”, with the cessation of Israeli settlement activities and with the lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip.
