Satanovsky apologized to Zakharova after asking the Prosecutor General’s Office to check his statements

“I sincerely regret,” TV presenter Evgeniy Satanovsky wrote in his Telegram channel on Monday evening.
He also added: “The sword does not cut off a guilty head” and asked “to accept these words as an apology.”
Obviously, the TV presenter apologized in this way to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, whom he had previously called unpleasantly.
This happened shortly after the head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption, Vitaly Borodin, asked the Prosecutor General’s Office to check the TV presenter’s statements, considering that he “publicly humiliated the honor and dignity of a government official.”
Although Satanovsky does not name names in his publication, the scandal was loud and what is discussed in his publication is quite clear.
