Sambists of Chuvashia took a place on the podium of the All-Russian tournament

Sambo wrestlers from the Chuvash Republic won prizes at the All-Russian competition.
Tournament “In memory of employees of department “A” of the Central Security Service of the Federal Security Service of Russia who died in the line of military duty” was held among the best 400 athletes of Russia. Sambists aged 14-16 showed excellent results.
Silver was won by Danil Abramov in the 71 kg category. Alexey Andreev and Artem Fedyarov received bronze in the 64 kg and over 88 kg categories, respectively.
The Sambo School of Chuvashia in 2022 received a subsidy from the national project “Sport is the norm of life”. Pupils can train and hone their skills with the help of new equipment; carpets, tatami, mannequins and jackets for wrestlers have been updated in the halls, transmits portal of the authorities of the Chuvash Republic.
