Sales of sleeping pills in Russia increased by 35%

The number of visits to doctors about sleep problems increased by 21% compared to the summer period. At the same time, the demand for sedative drugs increased significantly – one and a half times. Such radio research data “Moscow Speaks” provided by SBER EAPTEKA. Particularly strong growth, as noted, was recorded in November: sales of sleeping pills in late autumn increased by 43%, and the number of calls to somnologists – by 22%.
Sleep problems are experienced by women (53%) and men (47%) about equally.
Most often, young people aged 23-34 turn to somnologists – 22% of the total number of calls over the past year. People aged 45-60 years (19%) and 35-44 years old (18%) complain about sleep problems less frequently.
And the most healthy sleep, as follows from the study, was in young people aged 18 to 24 years – only 12% were those who applied in this age category.
