Sakhalina and the Primorye team received silver at the Russian Championship

Sakhalina, as part of the Primorye team, won a silver medal at the Russian Volleyball Championship. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region.
Arina Shchepanskaya, a student of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk volleyball sports school, participated in the tournament, which took place in Rostov, Yaroslavl region. Eight teams participated in the Russian volleyball championship among girls under 19 years old.
“The medals were distributed according to a round-robin system. All participants got to play seven matches,” the message said.
The Moscow team won with a 100 percent result. She was given gold. Second place went to the Primorsky Territory team. Representatives of the Far Eastern Federal District lost to the capital’s athletes, but won the other six matches.
The team from St. Petersburg took third place. She has five wins and two losses. Also participating in the tournament were athletes from the Novgorod and Yaroslavl regions, Altai Territory, the Republic of Karelia and the Republic of Dagestan.
