Sakhalin athlete Denis Palshin won the All-Russian boxing competition held in Nalchik. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.
The competition was dedicated to the Day of Revival of the Balkar people. 11 pairs of boxers entered the ring. Athletes from the Russian and Kabardino-Balkarian Republic teams competed.
“The guests of the competition were a whole galaxy of domestic and world boxing stars: the head coach of our country’s Olympic boxing team, Honored Coach of Russia Viktor Farkhutdinov, Olympic champions, world and European champions, Honored Masters of Sports Alexander Lebzyak, Oleg Saitov, Reimkul Malakbekov, Evgeniy Belousov, Kamil Dzhamalutdinov, Akhmedkhan Adilov,” the organizers shared.
Denis Palshin from Nevelsk won the fight in the weight category up to 54 kilograms. For his victory, he was awarded a champion belt and the prize “For the best technique.”
