Island athlete Dmitry Pyshkin became the champion of Russia in alpine skiing. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Sakhalin Region.
In Kamchatka, the Russian Alpine Skiing Championship is coming to an end. On March 20, a super-combination took place. The men determined the winners of the medals of the national championship, the juniors – the championship of Russia.
“More than fifty men came to the start of the combination: the first was a race in the super-G. Then, having coped with the distance, they started in the slalom, ”the Russian Alpine Skiing Federation reported.
In the super-G the fastest Ivan Kuznetsov from Kamchatka, who is well acquainted with the local track. However, he failed to stay on top.
According to the results of two races, Dmitry Pyshkin from Sakhalin took the first place. He was third in super-G and second in slalom. This stability brought him the gold medal of the national champion.
The second prize-winner is Ivan Kuznetsov (Kamchatka), the third is Alexander Andrienko (Kaluga region).
Two more island skiers entered the top ten. Roman Zveryan is in seventh place, Alexander Mikhailov is in tenth.
“Alisa Lyaskalo from Moscow confidently won in the super-combination among juniors. In the super-G, she was ahead of everyone, and in the slalom she became the second, losing 0.16 seconds to the young Darina Iokhvidovich from Sakhalin. Darina remained in an offensive fourth position, losing 0.27 seconds in the fight for bronze to Polina Zemlyanaya, ”the FGSR summed up.
