Sakhalin resident Alexander Fedorov won a bronze medal at the Spartakiad of Russian students in alpine skiing in Sochi. About it told at the regional ministry of sports.

“Over 100 athletes born in 2008-2009 are performing. The first type of program was slalom,” the department said.
The victory among the girls was won by Olesya Zhukova from the Magadan region, 0.64 seconds ahead of Muscovite Margarita Sklof, who took second place. Bronze went to Maria Khavronova from Altai. Among the islanders, Anastasia Tryasova can boast of the best result; she took seventh place. In tenth position is Sakhalin resident Daria Zenina.
Maxim Urakov from the Chelyabinsk region won the youth race. Muscovite Yegor Gorbachev won silver. The top three is completed by Sakhalin resident Alexander Fedorov, who fulfilled the standard for candidate master of sports.
Also included in the TOP-20 was the representative of Sakhalin, Dmitry Timofeev, taking 16th place. On February 8, athletes will compete for medals in the giant slalom.
