FC Sakhalinets will not play in the Second League due to lack of a sponsor

The Sakhalinets football club has temporarily suspended playing activities in both professional football and the MFL. It’s official confirmed club press service.
The team will not play in the upcoming seasons of the Second League and MFL.
“Let’s be honest with you, after the end of the contract with our general partner, the team was actively searching for new partners for a month, but, unfortunately, today the club has no proposals that can meet our goals in FNL-2 or MFL,” noted the club
The management, coaching staff and players thanked the fans for their support and also expressed hope to return to the field. The club noted that activities can resume in professional tournaments under the auspices of the RFU, as well as in media football.
