Today, March 21, the first Museum of Special Military Operations in Russia opens in Nizhny Novgorod. It is located on Lenin Square next to the Nizhny Novgorod Fair in the premises that used to be occupied by the House of Books.

The city authorities have not yet said what will be presented in the museum’s exposition. However, exhibits related to the special operation have already been demonstrated in Nizhny Novgorod, including military ammunition, captured weapons, literature and propaganda materials about the conflict in Ukraine.

An exposition dedicated to the Northern Military District has been operating in Dzerzhinsk (Nizhny Novgorod region) since September 2023. It contains items of uniform and equipment of Russian military personnel, trophies from the Northern Military District zone and things that were sent from Dzerzhinsk to the front as humanitarian aid.
