Residents of the Chelyabinsk region with the advent of spring began to massively throw away sheepskin coats and fur coats
With the advent of spring in the Russian regions, the volume of textile waste, including outerwear, has significantly increased. About it informs TV channel “360” with reference to the Russian environmental operator.
According to Denis Butsaev, Director General of the REO, in all regions of the country, with the beginning of spring, we observe a seasonal increase in the volume of waste of textiles, furniture, and household utensils.
The Director General of the REO noted a special increase in waste in the Chelyabinsk region, where natural fur coats, leather sheepskin coats and suitcases began to fall into local sorting points. During March, the employees of the sorting point “SW landfill” received more than a thousand products made of natural fur.
Butsaev emphasized that it is not necessary to throw away products made from natural products. Instead, they can be taken to a thrift store, donated to charity or upcycled – in other words, give things a second life.
