A scandal occurred in the Volgograd region after the publication on the Internet of a video from a comic dress-up competition organized by vacationers in Novoannisk for the Old New Year.

According to the Shot Telegram channel, two men who took part in the competition dressed up as women, using brunette and blonde wigs. In the video, men in disguise dance an erotic dance on the street against the backdrop of festive lights, turning their backs to each other and touching their buttocks.

Some local residents were outraged and wrote an appeal to the prosecutor’s office, asking them to check the participants of the competition for LGBT propaganda (recognized as extremist and prohibited in Russia).

The organizers of the holiday believe that these were ordinary carols, the tradition of which is to dress up.
