According to information provided by the Prime agency, Associate Professor of the Department of Economic Policy and Economic Measurements of the State University of Management, Natalya Kazantseva, explained to the Prime agency“new rules for payment of housing and communal services, which came into force on October 1.
According to her, apartment owners must now pay monthly costs for the maintenance and repair of common areas, as well as additional costs associated with the dishonest actions of individual residents.
According to the new rules, if due to the fault of the owner additional costs arise for the maintenance of common property, these costs will have to be paid by the offender, and not by the management company.
Kazantseva emphasized that they will look for violators using video surveillance and witnesses.
The associate professor noted that these innovations should not become the basis for an unreasonable increase in payments by management companies for items that are not subject to tariff regulation.
Earlier, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Landscaping, Pyotr Biryukov, said that specialists in the field of urban services will begin supplying heat to the capital’s facilities on October 3.
