Analyst Ulyanov: blocking VPN services can be bypassed
All VPN services will be blocked after March 1, 2024. However, according to experts, users will be able to bypass the blocking if they wish. According to the head of one of the analytical centers, Vladimir Ulyanov, the introduction of restrictions does not mean that all services will stop working.
“The same lockdowns, as we know, can be bypassed. You can gain access if you wish. Users share instructions with each other,” he told the TV channel “360”.
Ulyanov also said that the decrease in the number of users of VPN services after blocking is due to the fact that many, after the introduction of restrictions, do not want to look for other options.
The analyst recalled that such applications do not guarantee anonymity and should not be trusted. Before installing services, you need to make sure that it will not harm your gadget.
In addition, the expert did not recommend using a VPN through third-party applications, as this increases the risks of information leakage.
Earlier, the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, said that limiting all proxies, anonymizers, VPNs is technically impossible.
