Russians trust astrologers more than politicians

The list of professions whose representatives Russians trust most is headed by scientists, showed survey service “Rabota.ru”. They were chosen by more than a third of respondents (39%). Other professions receiving the most mentions included engineers, laborers and doctors. Only 3% of respondents trust astrologers. Nevertheless, they are ahead of politicians and journalists in terms of trust.
When asked why respondents trust representatives of these professions, most often mentioned was extensive experience (44%) and constant training that guarantees up-to-date skills (37%). Proximity to the people is important for every third respondent (34%). But only 6% named prestige.
