About 76% of Russians do not support proposals to amend the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, which provide for allowing minors aged 16-17 years to work in industries with harmful and dangerous working conditions, as evidenced by the results of a survey by the Research Center of the SuperJob.ru portal.
Survey data show that this idea is not liked by Russians with children and citizens over 45 years of age. This was expressed by 81% of respondents in both categories. Only 11% of respondents considered this idea acceptable, explaining their position by the fact that previously children worked equally with adults, which is why “there was no infantilism.”
There were twice as many men who support this approach as women – 14% and 7% of the respondents, respectively. About 13% of Russian citizens do not know how they feel about this proposal.
