VTsIOM: more than half of Russians have a normal attitude towards office romances
Over half of Russian citizens have a normal attitude towards romance at work. Survey data has provided All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
According to the study, a third of respondents met their future partner at work, and the same number of people once had feelings for their colleagues. About 68% of Russians responded that they perceive this situation as the norm. Another 64% of respondents noted that 10 years ago people treated this in exactly the same way.
The survey showed that 20% of citizens do not have a very good attitude towards office romances. The remaining 7% consider relationships at work unacceptable.
However, when it comes to the connection between a subordinate and a manager, every fourth Russian has a negative attitude towards this. Another 32% of respondents tolerate such novels, and 37% of citizens have come to terms with this state of affairs.
