A special flight of the Ministry of Emergency Situations with Russians evacuated from the Gaza Strip arrived in Moscow.
People were met by dozens of journalists with cameras, police officers in bulletproof vests, emergency workers and volunteers who brought warm clothes.
“People are at the limit, but they are cheerful,” said an Emergency Situations Ministry employee who accompanied the passengers. “Everyone survived the flight well, they were fed during the flight. Doctors flew with us, the psychologist did not leave their side.”
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the temporary accommodation center where the evacuees will be taken is located in Domodedovo. According to other sources, people will be housed in Volokolamsk.
Among the Russians greeting us is a young man. He is waiting for his mother and two brothers.
“My father stayed in Gaza, he is a doctor, he couldn’t leave,” says Omar Zorob. – My parents will go further to Cheboksary, our relatives are there.
