Representatives of Tinkoff Bank, Yandex, telecom operators MegaFon, MTS, Tele2, as well as companies in the field of information security (IS) Kaspersky Lab, RTK-Solar told Vedomosti about the multiple growth of installations of such services. , Infosecurity (part of Softline Group).
In MegaFon, since December 2022, the number of subscribers who have activated the service for identifying spam calls has grown from 1 million to 6.5 million, says a representative of the operator. The total user base of Tinkoff services (caller and secretary Oleg) is 6.5 million people, a bank representative said. In July, Tinkoff saw a peak in demand for such services: 2 times more customers connected the identifier than on average in the previous months of 2023. A third of all identifier users connected the service this year, a bank representative says. The number of downloads of the Kaspersky Who Calls application from Google Play increased from 1 million to 5 million over the year.
