Russians are tired of constant savings

NielsenIQ Retail Services Development Director Roman Fomin said at the 3rd Annual Supply & Demand Planning Conference on Demand Forecasting and Operational Planning that Russians have become less likely to save on food, new clothes and vacations. This was reported RBC.
According to him, despite the growth of consumer optimism, Russians continue to save. In particular, in the fourth quarter of 2022, 71% of Russian residents saved on the purchase of new clothes, and this year – 67%.
It is specified that 48% are saved on takeaway food, last year – 52%. On vacation, the number of people saving decreased from 48% to 46%.
