Russians are still defining what Motherland is

“Treason to the Motherland”. In this phrase itself, signs of some serious state crime in the form of treason, espionage, armed rebellion, etc. are immediately visible. In the current Criminal Code of the Russian Federation there are such elements of a crime, and there are 16 of them in total, in Ch. 29. But there is not a single line of the word “Motherland” (even with a small letter). The key concepts and the object of the crime are the foundations of the constitutional order and the security of the state. But what about the words from the song that there is also a Motherland, and it begins with “a picture in your primer” and with a song “what mother sang to us”? At school, children are taught their native language, and Pushkin wrote that he would not want to have another homeland (fatherland) other than Russia, and Yesenin took it even higher: “… don’t need paradise, give me my homeland.”

Even without delving into the basics of linguistics, many will say that the homeland is the place where a person was born, where his father’s house, well, like Pushkin: “Two feelings are wonderfully close to us, in them the heart finds food: love for the native ashes, love for father’s coffins. Wise philosophers argued that this was the case in ancient culture: “Where the horizon of Athens comes to an end, a foreign land, an enemy, a homeland of other people begins” (see O. Spengler). But from the history of the fate of people, we know that you can be born in one country, but faithfully serve, love and even die for another. For example, we know about the Germans in the Russian service, about whom it is possible to write a whole thick book. And the point here is not at all about money or ranks and ranks. Let us note that the majority of Germans and all others came to Russia as Gentiles: Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Muslims. As a rule, they were not required to convert to Orthodoxy, except perhaps for the royal and imperial brides. It is impossible, using only materialized reasons and arguments, to explain why these non-Russian Russians, becoming new converts, penetrated deeper into the world of the Russian spirit than many primordially Russian people, and became zealous defenders of Russia as the territory of Orthodoxy. Even those who remained in their faith were an example of the strength of the Russian spirit: Vitus Bering; Ivan Fedorovich Kruzenshtern (Protestant and buried in a Protestant church in Tallinn); Russified Scot Mikhail Bogdanovich Barclay de Tolly and how many more. So the Motherland-Fatherland is not directly connected in any way with the place of birth and even the religion of the ancestors.

Right now, the theme of patriotism, forgotten before the start of the special operation and in the early 90s, ridiculed and even vulgarized by the liberals, is being reasserted. Participation in the NWO is like a litmus test for determining what your homeland is for you and whether you even have it. All five of my children were born in Moscow, and my native courtyard is an old Moscow courtyard covered with asphalt. I didn’t even have a primer yet, but even now, by the age of seventy, I know that my Motherland began there. At the age of 30, I had the option of moving to live in the GDR with a German woman who taught Russian in Berlin, but after living in her intelligent family for 7 days, I clearly realized that this was definitely a foreign land, and the streets were not mine, and at home, and polite and terribly correct people are not close to me in any way. You can go crazy from their logic and pragmatism.

Now the question of how to correctly understand the patriotic behavior of people fighting in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is often discussed. They believe that left-bank Ukraine and Crimea are, as it were, historically the land of some Ukrainians. Their ideologists do not agree with the much more ancient concept of “Little Russians”, although Little Russia is Central Russia. It is we, “Muscovites”, who live on the outskirts of ancient Rus’, and they are not allegedly at the edge. It is useless to prove this to the former Little Russians – the current “Europeans”, for over the past 30 years their historians have written such nonsense that all the peoples of Russia on our planet have nowhere to live. Now give the Poles Western Ukraine and Belarus, well, Pskov, Novgorod, Smolensk … This is a long-known plan since the time of the Commonwealth, and our Russian philosopher I.A. Ilyin reminded us of it back in 1950.

He warned against a mistake: “Recognizing an “independent Ukraine” means giving it to the Germans (that is, recognizing the First and Second World Wars as lost) and supplying them not only with South Russian bread, coal and iron, but also ceding the Caucasus, the Volga and the Urals to them … It is Germany, having embraced the old dream of Gustavus Adolphus, that is trying to throw Russia back to the “Muscovite era”. Well, once the authorities of the RSFSR and the USSR already made the mentioned mistake, separating Ukraine from Russia by recognizing it as an independent federal unit within the USSR, giving it also the primordially Russian Crimea and, in general, the entire left-bank Catherine’s New Russia. I.A. Ilyin warned that the dismemberment of the Russian Empire would lead to a series of terrible wars. The famous Talleyrand said about such cases that this is more than a mistake – “this is a crime.” The ideologist of this crime, as you know, was Lenin, and then Khrushchev and, of course, Gorbachev. Now they write and talk a lot about their role in the collapse of the first Russian Empire, and then the empire called the USSR.

In February 2023, we are almost solemnly celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the creation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, as if forgetting that their ideologists have remained the same – ardent atheists with the principles of God-desert internationalism, indicated in the unchanged “Manifesto of the Communist Party”, the works of the Marxist-Leninists, when the collapse of Russia “… one of the first conditions for the final victory of the German proletariat” (cited by the PSS, vol. 18, p. 567). And according to Marx, the proletarian does not have a Motherland, but there is a half-forgotten definition – “rootless cosmopolitans.” If our Constitution recognizes ideological diversity (Article 13), then where is the ideology of love for the Motherland?

The leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Zyuganov calls the terrible results of the domination of communist ideology in Russia in his interviews “done nonsense.” Apparently, the execution of the royal family, the clergy, believers, the destruction of the Cossacks, the destruction of monasteries and temples – these are all innocent nonsense. Russian emigre philosophers warned us: “The union of materialism and atheism was a fatal fact for the historical destinies of mankind … The two main false ideas – the denial of the unique self in man and the denial of higher values, to which our “I” should be (ideally) directed, – being carried out in practice, they usually lead to sad or even terrible results … The only real spiritual force that can resist communism is Christianity, because only the Christian religion is able to influence not only the minds of people, but also their personal and “collective subconscious.”

In modern Russia there is no responsible institution that would be seriously engaged in at least the promotion of Christian ideas-values ​​in order to influence the minds of people. The Spas TV channel is clearly not enough. But the activity of the socialists (in the State Duma it is Mironov’s party) and the communists should be of concern not only to the Russian Orthodox Church and all religious denominations in Russia, but also to thousands of citizens who have private property. Let us recall the text of the main document of socialists and communists, The Manifesto of the Communist Party, drawn up with the participation of Marx and Engels: “Communists everywhere support every revolutionary movement … in all movements they put forward the question of property as the main issue of the movement.” Obviously, this is a pathological tendency to revolutionary upheavals and vectors to rob the loot.

Our trouble is that the deep concept of “motherland” is not studied, is not formalized as a systemic concept and is at the level of a metaphor, cut off from the age-old culture of Russia, mutilated by 73 years of Soviet politicized culture. It was only formally abolished by imposing liberal pro-Western values ​​and the desire for profit, and by 2023 they received what O. Spengler predicted at the beginning of the 20th century: “Good becomes a commodity, exchange becomes a turnover, and thinking in money takes the place of thinking in goods.” Civilization attracts more than culture, crushed since the beginning of the 90s by the entertainment industry.

But culture also contains the grain from which the concept of the Motherland grows, which was noticed by the mentioned O. Spengler: “Every culture has its own concept of the motherland and fatherland. It is not easy to feel it, and it is almost impossible to express it in words; it is full of obscure metaphysical connections, and yet it is unambiguous in its direction.”

Of course, people find words to express their love for the Motherland, but it is impossible to give an exhaustive content of the Motherland and Fatherland without a deep understanding of “one’s own” — my Motherland. This phenomenon was explained more clearly than many by our contemporary philosopher V.V. me… Freedom is, first of all, being captured by one’s own, where one must understand one’s own in connection with the clan and people (“one’s own”). Actually, I am that original property, bypassing which any other will be a misunderstanding.

Here are our fighters on special operations from all over Russia, who have never been to Novorossia and Ukraine in general, at the limit turn out to be much more cultured than those for whom Russia is only a place to stay to earn money, when the light of civilization is higher than the light and warmth of the Motherland and whom “I” takes away to a crazy infinity. This is how you can change the Motherland without falling into the net of the criminal law, which is what modern “runners” and “hornyaks” do.

Any battles are contrary to the eternal desire of a person for a peaceful life, but, as the witness of the First World War, the poet and playwright Paul Valery noted: “Never before, as in wartime, have you read so much avidly: ask the booksellers. Never before have we prayed so much and fervently: ask the priests. They mentally appealed to all saviors, founders, defenders, martyrs, heroes, fathers of the fatherland, holy heroines, national poets. Therefore, there is hope that the concept of Motherland will be filled with its spiritual content – my Motherland.
