Russians are in favor of raising the minimum age of conscription, but want to leave the maximum as it is

Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu proposed to gradually change the boundaries of the military age. Raise the age of enlistment for military service from 18 to 21 years, and the maximum draft age from 27 to 30 years. As shown interview research center Superjob, the majority of Russians approve the first part of the initiative, but do not support the second.
Among men (especially those who served in the army by conscription) there are generally more supporters of the initiative than among women. Russians over 45 also support it more often than younger age groups.
