Russian woman who did not notice 29 weeks of pregnancy explained how it happened

32-year-old Zulfiya Samovich turned to the antenatal clinic due to a sharp weight gain, mood swings and difficulty walking. After ultrasound diagnostics, it became clear that the patient was pregnant for the 29th week. This is reported aif.ru.
According to the woman, earlier she and her husband were diagnosed with infertility, so she did not even imagine that she could become pregnant. However, as Zulfiya recalls, at some point her cycle changed, while the test continued to show a negative result. Closer to spring, the expectant mother felt changes in her body.
After the examination, Zulfiya was sent to the Naro-Fominsk perinatal center, where she was explained why the pregnancy could not be detected earlier.
Deputy chief physician of the Naro-Fominsk perinatal center for obstetric and gynecological care Evgenia Iksanova told about the difficulties the doctors had to face: “Zulfiya has swollen vocal cords, a short neck, that is, there were many anesthetic risks, so we approached the operation very reverently.”
The caesarean was successful, at the moment the girl and the baby are at home.
