Russian users complain about Xiaomi equipment malfunctions

Owners of Xiaomi products in Russia encountered large-scale technical failures that affected the operation of the company’s website and services, reports Downradar, a service for tracking network failures.
As of 23:22 Moscow time, Downradar recorded 259 complaints from users about problems related to the work of Xiaomi. These complaints come from different regions of Russia, including Moscow, St. Petersburg, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Novosibirsk, Kazan, Perm, Ufa and Krasnodar.
The main problems that users actively report in the comments are failures in the Xiaomi application and the operation of its services. Users of the Mi Home ecosystem also encountered difficulties when trying to log into the application and connect to their devices via the Internet.
Among other problems, there is the inability to control smart equipment, such as lights and cameras, through a mobile application, as well as the unavailability of the functionality of Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners. These problems cover both Russia and Belarus.
Representatives of Xiaomi assured users that they are working to eliminate the failures and promise to restore normal operation of the system in the near future. The situation continues to evolve, and users expect a quick solution to the problem in order to return to normal operation of their Xiaomi equipment.
