Russian tourists warned: a prison awaits for a banal affair with an Egyptian

A compatriot says that often Russians do not even understand why in a foreign country you can go to jail. In particular, in Egypt – when trying to organize an occupation that generates income, allowing you to stay by the sea for the winter. According to the blogger, this is “a common story – they flew in on vacation, decided to stay, but the money ran out.” It is for trying to earn extra money in place that many are already sitting, without realizing what they have done so special.

A compatriot tells how she met “long-term” tourists from the Russian Federation on the beach and just exchanged a few words. As a result, I found out what the ladies are doing in Egypt, they did not particularly hide it. “One admitted that she invites everyone to a massage for 1000 pounds. Another was sunbathing with an Egyptian, to the question “who is it with you”, with a blue eye she said that this is a boyfriend, she helps her with money. Or it happens that they come to live in the apartment of an Egyptian, on his maintenance.

The Russian-speaking Egyptian woman explained to the girls that it was impossible to behave like that in Egypt. But another person for such frankness could simply hand them over to the police. The blogger calls any amateur activity of foreigners in Egypt outside of tourist activities “playing with fire”: at a minimum, this is deportation with a ban on subsequent entry, and at a maximum, an Egyptian prison.

It turns out that it is not difficult to rumble there for providing any paid services to the local population without a work permit, and even for cohabiting with an Egyptian, as they say, by mutual agreement, but without marriage. For legal cohabitation with a non-Christian, the Egyptians have ORFI – the simplest form of a marriage contract.

“This is something like a temporary marriage allowed in Islam,” a Russian-speaking guide from Hurghada confirms the words of the blogger. – Without this paper, a couple, where one is an Egyptian citizen and the other a foreigner, may suffer if they run into a check.

– Is it true that anyone can “snitch” the police about this – the concierge is at the entrance, the neighbors?

– Mostly true. But in practice, only the offended do this – wives who are cheated on by their husbands with tourists, cleaners who were not given a tip, envious neighbors, and so on. But the fact that personal life in Egypt is the most vulnerable place, if you want to substitute a person – 100%. Intimacy outside of legal marriage is the most indisputable compromising evidence, no one will even dare to defend those who have committed it.

– Is it possible with a piece of paper about a temporary marriage?

– Yes. But Russian women, as a rule, are not very interested in this. Why do they need a marriage, say, for a day? They want to permanently either get married or cohabitate with a financial background. And if there is an “orfi-husband” – a temporary husband, then it is no longer possible to meet with others.

The Russian-speaking Egyptian also explains the shortcomings in the eyes of the Russian women of the “orfi-husband”, adding that some are also afraid that with the help of the ORFI contract, the Egyptian temporary spouse will be able to somehow encroach on her freedom or property.

A Russian woman who has lived in Egypt for a long time advises tourists to at least “not talk frivolously about your personal life” if you have it with an Egyptian.

“Here, for example, a woman calls the master – she leaves the door to the apartment open so that the neighbors can make sure that they are not doing anything “such”. There is a person in my house who, in fact, must clean the stairs, the entrance. But don’t expect it from him. But who, where, to whom he went, watches day and night.

If a temporary marriage is not formalized, it will be considered the provision of sexual services for money, and in an Arab country this is a terrible crime. “The police in Egypt are doing very well,” warns the blogger. She needs to be underestimated. According to the statement of the house guard, neighbor, etc. a raid will come, and the Russian beauty will be taken away to sort it out. Moreover, for the arrest of a foreign woman, the testimony of a local man is enough that this lady provides services for money.

Such a statement is already a basis for detention, and they will be dealt with later, when the poor fellow is already behind bars. “According to the law of Egypt, whoever is caught, if there is no citizenship, then only deportation. But first they will be held in a terrible Egyptian prison, where up to 25 people in a room of 10 square meters, lice and sleep on the concrete floor.” According to the blogger, the fate of Russian women caught in intimate services to the Egyptians is of concern only to “kind people from Russian groups in social networks”: neither Egyptian boyfriends nor anyone from their homeland, as a rule, even try to help them.

And in Thailand, meanwhile, Russian men distinguished themselves, who began to marry Thai women they knew from the tourism industry, with whom they had only walked during the holidays. The Russian blogger was the first to talk about the phenomenon, who met the Thai mother-in-law of the Russian son-in-law, who is completely delighted: “The door will open, the place will give way, he will prepare breakfast himself. He calls to the restaurant and even pays, he does not refuse gifts. Generous, rich foreigner!”

But the main advantage is that he is not even 40! According to the mother of the lucky woman, who took a Russian husband as her husband, Thai girls are not spoiled by the youth of foreign boyfriends: on vacation, they are mainly approached by old men.

“This, apparently, is a girl from a very simple family,” the hostess of a hotel complex on the Thai Phangan comments on this marriage on condition of anonymity. – If the family is respected, then the children are matched and married not only to their own, but exactly from their social section – this is how it should be. To give a daughter to a Russian means, in fact, to lose her and spoil the “pedigree” for all descendants.

But, of course, if a girl already earns by serving tourists, then such a marriage is good for her. And for a Russian man, probably, too, since he went for this. Then he will be able to obtain a residence permit in our country without buying expensive real estate and without proving his solvency.
