Victor Panyushin, known in the criminal world as a thief in law Vitya Pan, was detained in Northern Cyprus. About it on Monday informed Prime Crime.

Panyushin was put on the wanted list back in 2017. For a long time he was hiding in Ukraine. There he was detained five times, but then he was released again.
Panyushin is a native of Tatarstan. His influence is especially strong in the Kursk region. There, on May 14, 2020, a criminal investigation was completed against 19 members of the Viti Pan criminal group. The investigation established the involvement of the thief in law in the abductions and torture of Russian citizens.
Panyushin received his first conviction in 1975 – he was convicted of theft of state property. Then he was repeatedly tried, including for extortion, theft and illegal possession of weapons.
Vitya Pan was crowned in 2000.
