A teacher from Krasnodar received four years for sending weapons abroad

A teacher from Krasnodar was sentenced to four years in prison for selling military goods to Japan and the United States. This was reported by the press service of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation.

Everything happened at the end of 2021. A 42-year-old woman posted an advertisement on social networks for the sale of military equipment. A buyer has been found. The woman collected a box with a sight for the Utes and Kord heavy machine guns for subsequent shipment to Japan. In the declaration, the teacher wrote that there were souvenirs inside the parcel. As a result, the box from the military equipment was intercepted by customs officers.

Three months later, the woman decided to send a parcel with a night sight for a sniper rifle again, but this time to the USA. Then law enforcement officers came to her and searched her. In her apartment, optical and collimator sights for sniper rifles, small arms parts ready for shipment abroad, as well as computer equipment with information on supply planning were found.

Two criminal cases were opened against the teacher for smuggling firearms, their main parts, ammunition or other military equipment. The court found her guilty and sentenced her to four years in prison to be served in a general regime colony.
