State Duma deputy and chairman of the Union of Summer Residents of the Moscow Region Nikita Chaplin told how owners of suburban plots can save on electricity, reports “Russian newspaper“.
Chaplin, among other things, proposed using modern “smart” LED lamps, which consume 4 times less energy and can last ten times longer than conventional ones.
The deputy also generally recommended the “smart home” system for gardeners who live outside the city permanently. The system can also be configured using a timer so that it saves electricity during rush hour.
When choosing household appliances, Chaplin advised paying attention to models with class “A” energy consumption. In addition, he recommended using two-tariff meters, not installing a refrigerator with a heat source, and turning off the lights when leaving the room.
