Russian short-distance speed skater Anastasia Sereda died at the age of 21. This was reported by the Russian Skating Union in its Telegram-channel.
“The skating family suffered a great loss – Anastasia Sereda passed away. We express our condolences to Anastasia’s family and friends. Blessed memory,” the message states. Details and causes of death of the athlete are not provided.
Master of Sports of Russia in short track skating Anastasia Sereda was born on March 30, 2003. At the competitions she represented St. Petersburg and Mordovia. In 2019, the athlete entered the top six short track speed skaters in Russia. In 2022, she won the Russian Cup as part of the relay team.
