Russian schoolchildren took three gold and silver medals at the Chemistry Olympiad in Zurich

At the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad, held in Zurich, Russian schoolchildren demonstrated impressive results, winning three gold and one silver medals. The winners were solemnly announced at the ceremony, which was broadcast on the YouTube channel of the organizing committee of the Olympiad.
Among the gold medalists were: Nikita Perov, a student of the Kazan Lyceum No. 131, Sergey Roslyakov, a representative of the Moscow Secondary School of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, and Vadim Kharisov, who studies at the Ufa Republican Engineering Lyceum-boarding school. Each of them became the owner of a gold medal and took an honorable place in the top three of the best participants in the Olympiad. Aleksey Mikheev from the Altai Secondary School No. 2 adequately represented Russia, receiving a silver medal.
350 schoolchildren from 90 countries competed for medals at this Olympiad. The organizers emphasized that the knowledge of these young scientists will play a key role in solving global problems such as climate change and energy crises.
