Russian runner Bogdanova allowed to compete for the United States

Silver medalist of the Cups of the Russian Federation in 2017 and 2018 in the 3,000 meters hurdles Alsu Bogdanova (Lenneman) received the right to represent the United States in international competitions from the International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics). The runner has the right to compete for the states from June 28 this year. Bogdanova (Lenneman), who competes in Russia for Tatarstan, is 29 years old. In 2018, she graduated from Eastern Michigan University (USA).
According to World Athletics Bogdanov (Lenneman), the last time she competed in Russia was in the middle of winter 2019. Then the athlete at the tournament in Novocheboksarsk came third in the 3,000 meters.
From 2015 to 2023, Bogdanova systematically participated in tournaments in Washington DC. The last competition this year for Bogdanova (Lenneman) was the Johnny Loaring Classic tournament in Canada (June 24), where she finished eighth in the 1.5 thousand meters.
