Russian regions revealed the number of measles cases

In at least 34 regions of the Russian Federation, measles cases have not been detected recently
Edition RBC, by contacting the regional ministries of health and having studied openly published information, made up a fairly complete picture of the measles disease in the Russian Federation. The publication’s requests were answered in 76 out of 89 regions, and in some subjects no requests were required – data on this disease are openly published there.
In 34 regions, as it turned out, no cases of measles infection were registered. Of the regions of central Russia, this list included the Pskov, Tambov, Vladimir, Vologda, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Novgorod, Kostroma, Bryansk, Ryazan, Oryol and Murmansk regions.
With those who responded to requests and provided information, the situation is as follows: Dagestan – 188 cases, Samara region – 118 (for the first quarter), Kursk region – 3, Moscow region – 88 (from the beginning of the year to the present), Leningrad region – 75, Tatarstan – 45, Kemerovo region – 35, St. Petersburg – 31 (through April inclusive), Altai Territory – 33, Krasnodar Territory – 31, Bashkiria – 24 (from March to present). In the capital, according to the Department of Health, there are isolated cases.
At the same time, 1-3 cases of infection were detected in 11 regions, including in the Ulyanovsk and Smolensk regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, YaNAO, as well as in Adygea, KBR, Yakutia and Karelia. 4-9 cases – in 10 regions: Voronezh, Irkutsk, Astrakhan, Orenburg, Omsk and Penza regions, Chechnya and Buryatia, as well as in the Krasnoyarsk and Stavropol territories.
In the Republic of Altai, 11 cases of the disease were noted, in the Chelyabinsk region – 12.
