The Federal Passenger Company (FPK, a subsidiary of Russian Railways) issued an apology to the passengers of the Tomsk-Adler train, who were mistakenly dropped off by the conductor in a deep forest in the Perm region.
Let us remind you that the incident was reported on January 23 by the Volga Transport Prosecutor’s Office. It is known that the conductor of train No. 115 mixed up the schedule and at midnight dropped off passengers who had bought tickets to the city of Chernushka at the Shchuchye Ozero station, located 51 kilometers from their destination.
The company explained the incident as “unfavorable weather conditions and incorrect location determination.”
Also, the injured passengers were paid for a taxi (four of the six disembarked), two more were taken by the next train. People were paid the full price of their tickets and given bonus points.
